  • What is tallow?

Tallow is rendered beef fat. I render, filter, and purify ours in-house in small batches, a slow process that takes about six days from start to finish.

  • Does your soap contain lye?

All real soap is made with lye (sodium hydroxide), but there is no lye left in the finished bar. During soapmaking, the lye reacts with the fats and oils and turns into soap. Every bar is fully cured before it comes to you.

  • How should I store my products?

Keep bar soap on a soap saver and let it dry between uses so it lasts longer. Keep jars closed and dry. Whipped products are naturally firmer when it's cold and softer when it's warm.
